The journal recognizes the growing importance of interdisciplinary approaches in understanding and solving complex health-related issues. Submissions should demonstrate practical relevance and applicability, particularly in areas such as medical sciences, healthcare innovation, biomedical sciences, public health, clinical research, and life sciences. For scope-related details, please check the Aims and Scope for IJMHLS.

Reporting Guidelines
Authors are encouraged to follow relevant reporting guidelines according to study type, such as CONSORT for clinical trials, PRISMA for systematic reviews, STROBE for observational studies, CARE for case reports, and ARRIVE for animal studies where applicable. Manuscripts involving clinical trials must include trial registration details.
Manuscript Assessment Criteria
Manuscripts will be evaluated based on the following factors:
- Originality: Papers must present novel ideas or methods specific to Medical, healthcare innovation, biomedical sciences, and life sciences.
- Significance and Relevance: The research should address pressing challenges and offer meaningful contributions to theory and application.
- Technical Soundness: Results must be scientifically rigorous, reproducible, and robust.
- Quality of Presentation: Manuscripts must be well-organized, clearly written, and adhere to academic standards.
Papers that fail to meet these criteria may be subject to revision or rejection.
Manuscript Structure and Formatting
To meet the high standards of IJMHLS, manuscripts must:
Adhere to the Template: Authors must use the Journal Template for manuscript preparation. This ensures uniform formatting, including sections for title, abstract, keywords, introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references. The submitted paper must be in a clear, completed, and formatted Word docx file, without any encryption or security passwords. If you find following the template difficult, provide a clear, formatted Word docx file, single-spaced, in Times New Roman, 12-point font. All the headings and subheadings must be properly directed; all figures, tables, equations, and references are numbered and cross-referenced.
Abstract and Keywords: Include a concise abstract (150–250 words) summarizing the objectives, methods, results, and significance. Provide 5 keywords to facilitate indexing.
Length and Format: Manuscripts should be appropriately concise while covering the scope and depth of the research. There is no strict page limit; however, submissions should maintain clarity, focus, and relevance, adhering to the journal's quality standards and formatting requirements.
Figures and Tables: Ensure that figures and tables are clear, properly labeled, and integrated within the manuscript. Provide high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi) where applicable. All the tables and figures must be properly captioned and cross-referred in the main text. Tables must be editable, not in picture format, and can be referred to as “Table 1” in the main text. Figures can be referred to as “Fig.1” or “Figs 1 & 2” in case of referring to more than one figure. For detailed formatting of the content, refer to the manuscript template.
Equations and Notations: Use standard mathematical notation with clear definitions for symbols and variables. Equations should be sequentially numbered. All the equations must be editable, not in picture format.
References: Authors must use one consistent referencing style throughout the manuscript. IJMHLS recommends the IEEE citation style for medical and healthcare manuscripts unless otherwise stated in the journal template. References should be accurate, complete, traceable, and based on scholarly sources. The number of references should be appropriate to the article type, study design, and subject area. Manuscripts with fabricated, unverifiable, or misleading references may be rejected or returned for correction.
Supplementary Materials: Include any supplementary figures, data, or multimedia files that enhance the understanding of the research. These materials should be clearly referenced in the manuscript.
